Bummer

Y'all remember how I told you about all the construction going on next door? And how I have this really cool peep-hole in my fence?
It's always been there forever and ever, so I could visit with the next door doggies?




Well, Mom came home from work a few days ago, and let me out, and I ran to my peep-hole to check on the new doggy that moved in last week, and look what we found!

I am so mad!

The new neighbors blocked off my peep-hole.

Mom is mad, too - because it is her fence!



Mom and I played a little soccer today, but not much, because it was really hot and humid outside.



Mom said she might get her saw out and give me my peep-hole back. I hope she does, 'cause I am a very curious and friendly dog! I want to visit with the doggy next door.

But the neighbor peoples don't seem very nice at all.

Another year has come and gone, and once again those people next door made all those dreadful bang-bang noises that are so scary!

I always have to find somewhere safe to hide, but where I can still keep an eye on my Mom.

I like her closet the best.


I know the noises scare my Mom, too, because she keeps calling and calling me to come get in the bed with her, but I just can't, because it is too close to the noises!

And I can't go outside, either - it is way scarier than thunder and lightning.

I hope all of you don't have bad neighbors, and had a good New Year!

Mom brought a special treat home for me yesterday, because I am always so good!

She likes to get salads from Zaxby's, but she doesn't like the bread, so she saves it for me.

This time, it had salad juice on it, so it was extra delicious!

When I saw what Mom had in her hands, and smelled it, I dropped my babies (I was carrying 2 babies!) really fast and got busy!

I just wish Mom would bring me a whole salad some time, 'cause I am always really good, and I'm pretty sure salads are good for me.

Bang Bang!

Yesterday was a horrible day!

It started off OK - Mom and I slept late, and then we snuggled in bed. I am a good snuggler!

Then, Mom went to work, and I was alone for a while.

Then, Mom came home, and we played soccer until it started thundering and lightning, and raining. It was a bad storm, so I got in bed with Mom so she wouldn't be scared.

But then the rain stopped, and right after that the bad stuff started!

Right outside our bedroom window, our terrible next door neighbors started making the bad bang bang noises they make every summer. It only happens on one day, but that is a horrible day for me!

I have to find a safe place to hide from the bang bang noises! But I have to be near Mom, because I am so scared, and I want to make sure she is OK. So I ask Mom to open her closet, and I go in there and stay for hours, until it stops.

It always lasts a really long time.

Mom tries to get me to come out and sit with her on the bed, but that is too close to the noise.

The bang bang noises finally stop, and I come out of the closet, but I will not go outside, because they might start again! So I can't go potty again until it is daylight, but that is better than getting caught outside with the bad noises!


When Mom came home from work today, I got a new bone!

I chewed it really fast. Now it is gone.
